What we collect. What we don't. How to have it deleted.

Short version: we don't sell your data. We use it to run the business. You can ask us to delete it and we will.

What we collect

When you fill out a contact form, book a consult, register a garden on the Network, or buy a Build, we collect the information you give us: name, email, postal address or ZIP, phone number, garden specifics, and — for paid services — billing data handled by our payment processor (Stripe). We also collect basic analytics on this site: pages visited, referrer, browser, and general region. We use Plausible or a similar privacy-preserving analytics provider; we do not set third-party tracking cookies.

What we don't collect

We do not buy or rent mailing lists. We do not track you across the web. We do not run ad pixels (Meta, TikTok, Google, etc.) on this site. We do not sell, rent, or trade your email address to any third party. If we ever do, this page will say so.

How we use it

To run the business: answer your inquiry, ship your Blueprint, send seasonal tips if you opted in, and run the Second Garden program. We use Airtable for CRM, Stripe for payments, Calendly for scheduling, and an email service provider (Loops or similar) for our newsletter. Each of these providers has their own privacy policy; we only share the minimum data needed for each function.

Network data, specifically

Gardens registered on the Network display a non-precise location (city and state) on the public leaderboard, along with pounds donated (if you log them). Your street address is never public. You can delete your Network profile at any time by emailing gardensoon@gardensoon.com from the account email.

Your rights

You can ask us to: show you the data we have on you, correct anything wrong, delete everything, or export it in a portable file. Email gardensoon@gardensoon.com and we'll respond within 30 days (usually same day).

Cookies

We use a tiny number of first-party cookies needed to run checkout, log you in to your Network profile, and remember whether you dismissed the top banner. We do not use third-party marketing cookies. There is no cookie banner because there's nothing to consent to.

Children

Our services aren't intended for anyone under 13. If a parent or guardian discovers that a child submitted information, email us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change how we handle data, we will update the "last updated" date at the top and, for current customers, we will email you. For small edits (a new service provider that does the same job) we will just update the page.
